More Spanish   Mexico Opened with a Gift to the Fans   Guadalajara, Mexico, August 28, 2009 - Mexico took advantage of Panama’s weaknesses to give a present to their audience in straight sets at the closing of the first day of the tournament of the NORCECA Play-offs, Group I, a qualification event for the Final Round of 2010 Italy World Championship.   With the spectators on their side at the Pan American Volleyball Complex, the Mexican players didn’t have too many obstacles to win by score of 25-13, 25-21, 25-18 against a team of mature men but with little height and few resources to stop the opponent’s attacks. The only player whose points went above the double digits was the more experienced local player, Ivan Gerardo Contreras, who scored 10 points.
