Second leg of NORCECA Circuit set to start 

 

GUATEMALA, April 19, 2007.- Fourteen men’ pairs and a dozen of women’ duos will be taking part in the second leg of the 2007 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit at the Sports Park of Campo Marte in Guatemala City starting on Friday.

 

The competition was scheduled to start at 8:00 during the weekend with the finals programmed for Sunday in both genders. 

 

The General Technical Meeting was held on Thursday under the supervision of Mr. Nelson Ramirez, Executive Director of NORCECA. 

 

Players from Canada, USA, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Saint Kitts & Nevis, Cayman Islands, Trinidad & Tobago, and host Guatemala have been registered.  

 

The Women’s teams are the following:

Sara Pothhaar-Isabelle Czerveniak (CAN), Ingrid Morales-Natalia Alfaro (CRC), Ion Canet-Kirenia Bell (CUB), Margarita Suero-Bethania Almanzar (DOM), Ivonne Soler-Laura Molina (ESA), Maria Orellana-Anna Ramirez (GUA-1), Marie Burmester-Ingrid Lopez (GUA-2), Stefany Bolanos-Dulce Gonzalez (GUA-3), Martha Euceda-Laura Mackay (HON), Heydi Rostran-Heysel Carcache (NIC), Maritere Ramos-Ania Ruiz (PUR) and Jenny Kroop-Renee Cleary (USA).

 

The Men’s teams are the following:
