Fourteen stops confirmed for 2010 Beach Volleyball Circuit 

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, December 3, 2009 – The NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit will have at least 14 stops in 2010 as it was agreed during the first day of the Beach Volley Commission annual meeting at the headquarters of the continental confederation.

Tournaments are confirmed to be held in Cayman Islands, Trinidad & Tobago, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, Canada, Cuba United States of America and Chiapas, Colima, Puerto Vallarta, Tijuana, Campeche in México.

Two more tournaments are pending of confirmation in El Salvador and Costa Rica which would increase the total to 16 events.

Last year the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit consisted of eight tournaments, including three in different cities of Mexico.

During the first of two days of meetings the President of the Commission Mr. Arnaldo Sanchez of Puerto Rico presented a complete report of last year’s tournaments.

In the morning session, chaired by Mr. Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, President of NORCECA, the members of the Commission approved the agenda and they were informed about the financial reports. In the afternoon they discussed the continental marketing possibilities of the Beach Volleyball Circuit as a product of NORCECA.
