Mother of Caceres Veloz passed away

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, June 18, 2007.- The Dominican Republic National Federation and the NORCECA Confederation inform, with deep sorrow, the death of Ms. Juana Felicia Veloz, mother of journalist Jose Caceres Veloz, former press officer of the Dominican institution and President of the Press Commission of the continental organization.

The day of the funerals will be announced as soon as Caceres Veloz returns to the country from United States where he was accompanying the Minister of Sports, Mr. Felipe Payano in an official visit.

The Dominican Republic National Federation and the NORCECA Confederation express their condolences to this distinguished member of the volleyball family.
