SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, March 18, 2008.- Twelve pairs in the men’s division and eight duos in the women’s side have been confirmed for the first leg of the 2008 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit to start in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic on the March 21-23 Easter Sunday weekend.

Costa Rica and Puerto Rico will be present with two teams in the men’s event and Dominican Republic will participate with two teams per gender, informed Mr. Nelson Ramirez, the competition director.

The event, with a total prize of $10,000 American Dollars is sponsored by Presidente Light, the leading beer brand in the Dominican Republic.
