Wei declared Ambassador of Peace in Guatemala
GUATEMALA, October 22, 2009 – The President of FIVB was declared
“Ambassador of Peace” by the Ministry of Culture and Sport of
Guatemala during a ceremony that took place on Wednesday in the
National Palace of the country.
“I receive this honor with humble,” said Mr. Jizhong Wei. “And I
make the commitment of carrying a message of peace.

President Wei meets with Guatemalan authorities
GUATEMALA, October 22, 2009 – The President of FIVB, Mr. Jizhong Wei,
met today with local sport authorities of Guatemala as part of his
visit to the country as special guest of the XX Congress of NORCECA
Volleyball Confederation.
The world leader of Volleyball had an exchange of ideas with Mr.
Gustavo Lapola Diaz, General Director of Sports and Recreation of
the Government of Guatemala.

FIVB President Jizhong Wei arrives in Guatemala

in Guatemala to attend the XX NORCECA Congress to be held at Soleil
Hotel in Antigua Guatemala on October 23-24.
